For continuous determination of the moisture content in sand and aggregates
Nowadays, concrete quality is of crucial importance for the industrial production process. In order to fulfil the increasing quality requirements, it is essential to control and regulate the moisture content.
The BTS-5000 moisture analyser determines the moisture in the sand and aggregates quickly and accurately. It therefore forms the basis for correct dosing of the aggregates.
Improving the concrete quality
The advantage of moisture measurement lies in the significant improvement in concrete quality. The continuous measurement during the entire dosing process allows the moisture values to be determined and the production process to be continuously monitored in order to carry out an exact sand/water correction.
Application
All types of sand and aggregates up to a grain size of 8 mm can be measured.
Function
The BTS-5000 receives and processes the signals from the probe and converts them into moisture values. Moisture is measured directly in the bulk material flow, which means that the probe is simultaneously cleaned by the material flow.
Modular design
The modular design allows the moisture measurement to be expanded without any problems, as up to 4 measuring probes can be connected. The BTS-5000 can be integrated into any PLC or control system without additional software.

BTH Portable sand moisture analyser
The new BTH is a portable moisture analyser for determining the moisture content in bulk materials such as sand, gravel and chippings. The BTH is characterised by precise measurement and user-friendly operation.
