Nowadays, concrete quality is of crucial importance for the industrial production process. In order to fulfil the increasing quality requirements, it is essential to control and regulate the moisture content. The BTS-5000 moisture analyser determines the moisture in the sand and aggregates quickly and accurately. It therefore forms the basis for correct dosing of the aggregates.
Improving the concrete quality
The BTS-5000 receives and processes the signals from the probe and converts them into moisture values. Moisture is measured directly in the bulk material flow, which means that the probe is simultaneously cleaned by the material flow.
Application
All types of sand and aggregates up to a grain size of 8 mm can be measured.
Modular design
The modular design allows the moisture measurement to be expanded without any problems, as up to 4 measuring probes can be connected. The BTS-5000 can be integrated into any PLC or control system without additional software.

Manual output
A humidity value can be set via the display by pressing the manual button. This value is also output via the signal outputs.
Calibration
Calibration of the BTS-5000 is very simple. Correct functioning is ensured by calibrating with a drier material 2-5 % and calibrating with a wetter material 6-9 %. Both values are displayed graphically and can be subsequently changed as required. The device accesses these values for the subsequent measurements.
User-friendly operation
The BTS-5000 has been designed to be particularly user-friendly, with menu-guided operation via a clear touch display.
Graphical representation of the humidity curve
The humidity curve is displayed in a graph for each connected probe. The sampling rate 0.1-240 sec can be individually set by the customer and changed at any time. The humidity curve can be displayed graphically for up to 13 hours.
Display area
The display range of the BTS-5000 is flexibly adjustable between 0 and 30 %. If you mainly produce with drier materials, the display range should be set between 0 and 10 % in order to achieve better readability of the graphic moisture display.
Measurement
The measurement data is transferred and processed 100 times per second by the BTS-5000 in order to determine the exact humidity. This is a real-time measurement. The measured value is available without delay so that moisture fluctuations are recognised even with fast-flowing material.
